[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Roy Halladay, please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. See Wikipedia:Citing sources for how to cite sources, and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. – Muboshgu (talk) 23:26, 25 April 2011 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. One of the core policies of Wikipedia is that articles should always be written from a neutral point of view. A contribution you made to Allen West appears to carry a non-neutral point of view, and your edit may have been changed or reverted to correct the problem. Please remember to observe this important core policy. Thank you. Arbor8 (talk) 21:39, 27 April 2011 (UTC)
How was that not written from a neutral point of view? This is how witnessed described the incident. Please read the source. Thanks. (AROUNDNASCAR (talk) 21:46, 27 April 2011 (UTC))
- Hey -- There were a number of problems with that edit in my opinion. The source, a Fox News blog, is right on the line of being too POV for a WP:RS; the event itself doesn't seem to be of lasting notability (see WP:NOTNEWS); and there's also some selection bias at work -- namely, Rhodes was not the only protester at the event - why mention her without mentioning West's constituents who were there opposing his vote for the budget? Perhaps we should discuss on the article talk page, but as it stands now the edit is too partisan for a BLP. Arbor8 (talk) 21:56, 27 April 2011 (UTC)
Peter Doocy is a new writer for Fox News and there is a reason why it's in the American Election HQ section. Allen West is a relatively new face in Congress. Republicans and Democrats were both there protesting. This isn't partisan. This is American Politics at it's finest. (AROUNDNASCAR (talk) 22:00, 27 April 2011 (UTC))
- Fair enough, I'll concede that the source in this case is appropriate. But that doesn't mean the edit belongs. It's certainly WP:UNDUE and feels rather partisan as well. Arbor8 (talk) 22:07, 27 April 2011 (UTC)
Nothing can please everyone in America. It is what it is. (AROUNDNASCAR (talk) 22:08, 27 April 2011 (UTC))
- You're right, nothing can please everyone. But fortunately at Wikipedia there are policies to help us work together to improve the project. The wording you keep adding to Allen West is blatantly POV. Describing Sandler as a "former Air America hostess" rather than, say, "radio personality" or whatever her current position draws undue attention to her political affiliation (Look! a LIBERAL!), while "relentlessly harassing" is just way over the top. And regardless of the wording, the whole incident isn't notable enough to include in an encyclopedia. Again, I'd encourage you to check out WP:NOTNEWS. I'm going to remove the section again. You've already been reverted by multiple editors; please do not engage in an edit war by re-adding. Thanks. Arbor8 (talk) 22:17, 27 April 2011 (UTC)
Sockpuppetry case
[edit]Your name has been mentioned in connection with a sockpuppetry case. Please refer to Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Thechroniclesofratman for evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to cases before editing the evidence page. Arbor8 (talk) 15:09, 28 April 2011 (UTC)
